Rules and guidelines for users

PriceSpy is built on trust. These guidelines help keep the platform useful and fair for everyone.

General conduct

• Use PriceSpy for personal, non-commercial price comparison unless you have a registered retailer account.
• Do not attempt to scrape, bulk-download or automate access to our data without written permission.
• Do not interfere with the service — no hacking, spamming or distributing malware.
• Respect other users. Do not post abusive, discriminatory or offensive content.

Reviews and ratings

• Only review products you have genuinely purchased or used.
• Keep reviews factual, relevant and focused on the product — not the retailer or delivery experience.
• Do not post personal information (yours or others') in reviews.
• Do not post fake reviews, incentivised reviews or reviews on behalf of others.
• We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate these guidelines without notice.

Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address when creating an account.
• Keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• One account per person. Do not create multiple accounts to manipulate ratings or alerts.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Reporting violations

If you see content or behaviour that breaks these guidelines, email support@pricespy.co.uk with details. We investigate all reports.
